Can I book additional nights accommodation to extend my stay?

Yes, it is possible to book additional accommodation at the event hotel before or after the event. This can be added to your booking as an optional extra during the booking process. The price per night will be detailed on the booking page.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes - a limited number of room upgrades are available. Please contact our Tour Operator for options and prices at 0161 703 8161 or email to: gcn@sportstoursinternational.co.uk

Are airport transfers provided?

Scheduled transfers between Palma airport and the event hotel are included in the package. Pre-scheduled times for the transfers are detailed on the ‘travel information’ section on the GCN Mallorca web page.

What can I do if I can't make the airport transfer times?

Our Tour Operator can organise private transfers at an additional charge. Please contact 0161 703 8161 or email gcn@sportstoursinternational.co.uk

Will my bike be transported on the transfer?

Yes - bikes will be transported as part of the airport transfer. Please ensure your bike is properly packed into a bike box or bike bag. Take a look at our videos with advice on bike packing

Are there any options to ship my bike to Mallorca?

Yes - a shipping service is available from UK only at present via our Tour Operator. Please contact 0161 703 8161 or email gcn@sportstoursinternational.co.uk

How old do I have to be to take part in GCN Mallorca?

The minimum age for GCN Mallorca is 18.

Can I bring my family/children/significant other who doesn’t cycle

No, not this time, but family/children/significant other inclusion will be catered for at future GCN events being planned.

Can I attend the rides but stay at alternative accommodation?

No, this is an exclusive, closed group event.

BOOKING

What happens if the event is cancelled?

If the event is cancelled all customers will receive a full refund which will be processed by our fully bonded ABTA and IATA Tour Operator, Sports Tours International. Please click here to read the full booking terms and conditions

What happens if I can not attend the event?

You may cancel your booking but this will be subject to the Sports Tour International cancellation charges which can be viewed in the booking terms and conditions here

Can someone take my place?

Yes - you can transfer your place to another person but this may be subject to an administration fee. Please contact our Tour Operator at 0161 703 8161 or email gcn@sportstoursinternational.co.uk

Are there payment plan options?

Payment is required in two instalments. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your place as they will be in great demand. This is due upon booking with the balance due 12 weeks before the event. If you are booking within 12 weeks of the event date payment is required in full.

How can I pay?

Payment can be made using all major credit cards and debit cards directly on our Tour Operator’s online booking page.

Do you offer group discounts for my club?

Not this time around! However, if you are GCN Club member you will be able to get priority access and special offers on future GCN Events. Find out more at GCN Club

RIDING

Will the riding suit my abilities?

GCN Mallorca is designed to suit riders of all abilities but we recommend having some level of basic fitness to be able to ride over three consecutive days. Groups will be split into different speeds ranging from fast to chilled. Support vehicles will be provided to assist any riders in difficulty.

Can I hire a bike?

Bike hire is available from our Tour Operator and will be available on the booking page.

Do I need special insurance?

We recommend that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance as well as specialist cycling insurance to cover your bike and personal accident and injury.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes - helmets will be compulsory on GCN Mallorca.

What kit do I need?

A recommended kit list will be provided in advance of the event. Guests will also be provided with an exclusive discount code to buy GCN kit from our online store: Global Cycling Network shop

Are E-Bikes permitted?

Not this time around, but e-bikes will be included in further GCN events being planned…

Are all the routes on or off road? What is the best bike to bring?

For GCN Mallorca in March 2019, all routes will be on road so a road bike is required. Future GCN events will cater to all bike formats – so make sure you subscribe to our Future Events Bulletin.
